Hello! My name is Jessica, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and young adults. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Elon University.
In my work, I strive to empower clients to grow in confidence and develop a deeper understanding of their emotions as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I have experience working with diverse populations, including children with special needs and individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders, depression, and anxiety. Through this work, I have supported clients in developing effective emotional regulation, communication, and coping skills.
My goal is to create a trauma-responsive and empowering environment where clients feel safe, heard, and valued. When working with individuals and groups, I utilize Motivational Interviewing and evidence-based practices to support clients in building insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Most importantly, I believe the therapeutic process should be collaborative and grounded in a trusting relationship. Guided by a strength-based and client-centered approach, I recognize and respect each individual’s unique needs and experiences while offering unconditional positive regard, warmth, and empathy.
