
Ashley Sears is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with adults across the lifespan. She is also a certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor.
Ashley takes a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy, prioritizing building strong therapeutic rapport and creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported.
Ashley is passionate about helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use, and strives to create an environment where clients feel comfortable seeking support without fear of judgment. Her style is honest, warm and engaging, grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered framework, with a focus on practical, solution-focused and mindfulness strategies.
She has extensive experience supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including the use of medication-assisted treatment (both psychotropic & medication to treat SUDs)
Ashley works with concerns such as Anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, depression, and relationship or family stressors, and is affirming of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Ashley also has a special interest in working with individuals managing chronic medical conditions, women’s issues, and those caring for loved ones with chronic illness and/or acquired and traumatic brain injury.
Her goal is to provide a nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable, connected, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
