Hi! I’m Sarah. As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to my work with children and their families, college students and young adults. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. Whether you’re dealing with interpersonal and social challenges, anxiety, navigating significant life changes, the loss of a loved one or the impact of family dynamics, I’m here to provide compassionate support and guidance.
With experience across school, clinical, and private practice settings, I have supported clients navigating a wide range of challenges. My approach is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and play-based interventions. I draw from a person’s strengths to meet each client where they are, honoring their unique voice and lived experience. I also am known to use humor, art-based approaches, and employ hands-on resources to support further growth and practice during, and between, sessions.
Before entering clinical practice, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Education from Bucknell University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. During my educational experiences, I received comprehensive clinical training with a focus on trauma-informed care, child and adolescent development, and school-based mental health. My educational background, paired with my hands-on experience in diverse therapeutic settings, has shaped my integrative approach with clients.
Above all, I believe that therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, connection, and empathy. I’m honored in this work to support my clients as they deepen self-understanding, build resilience, and move toward greater emotional well-being. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself or your child, I welcome the opportunity to work together in a space rooted in understanding, hope and compassion.
