Hello! My name is Caitlyn, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut. I have been a practicing psychotherapist since 2022, with experience in intensive outpatient programs, therapy groups, family therapy, and individual therapy. I have worked with children, teens, families, and adults of all ages.
I am most passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. My goal is to help you feel grounded, confident, and connected to your most authentic self. I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), while also incorporating creative tools like journaling, expressive arts and mindfulness practices.
I am Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a therapeutic model that helps clients understand and heal the different parts of themselves with greater compassion and clarity. This approach can be especially supportive for those struggling with anxiety, inner conflict, self-criticism, or feeling stuck in old patterns.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I aim to meet you where you are, honor your unique experiences, and create a safe space where you can show up as your truest self and begin to heal.
